Rohan Sinha in hospital
A former maths teacher at Bakliwal Tutorials-IIT on Sunday filed a complaint against the proprietors of the institute, who allegedly assaulted him at his residence in Pimple Saudagar on Saturday night. Rohan Kailaspati Sahay Sinha (34) lodged a complaint against Vaibhav Bakliwal (32) and his father Satish Bakliwal (60), all resident of Meerchandani Palms in Pimple Saudagar.
Later, the police registered a cross-complaint when Bakliwals approached them saying Sinha abused and assaulted Satish Bakliwal. The police filed an FIR in this regard. Sinha left Bakliwal Tutorials last month and started his own ‘Deeksha Centre for Excellence’. He claimed the attack was an outcome of rivalry.
Sinha has been admitted to a private hospital in Pimple Saudagar. Dr P Rajwade and Dr A Kate said he had suffered blunt trauma, bleeding of the left eyebrow and shoulder pain . According to Sinha, he worked at Bakliwals as a teacher for two years. His other associates, including Jimmy Pandita and Rajiv Jain, were also teaching in the same institute.
But Jain and Pandita left it in January and June this year, respectively. Sinha said when he was in the parking area of the society, Satish Bakliwal demanded the key of a classroom from the former, which was in his possession, but Sinha refused to hand it over to him.
“Suddenly, the Bakliwal father-son duo started thrashing me. They hit my head against a concrete column,” said Sinha. Vaibhav Bakliwal said, “My father and I had gone to collect the key, but Sinha started arguing with us.
He and his associates had left our institute without giving any prior notice to us, which had caused a huge financial loss.” PI ST Tayade, in-charge of Sangvi police station, said, “We have issued summons and have warned both the parties to avoid repetition of such an incident.”

                                                                                      Rohan Sahay-Sinha
Changing their stance over an altercation between the two proprietors of Bakliwal Tutorials-IIT and a teacher formerly employed by them, the Sangvi police on Saturday registered the case under Section 324 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) (Voluntarily causing hurt by dangerous weapons or means).
The police had filed a non Cognisable (NC) offence in the matter last week. In this regard, the Math teacher, Rohan Kailaspati Sahay-Sinha (34), had allegedly approached the Commissioner of police along with medical certificates requesting him to see that the case would be filed as per its severity.
However, no arrests were made in the matter till late on Sunday evening. The case filed last Sunday was registered against Vaibhav Bakliwal (32) and his father Satish Bakliwal (60), both residents of Mirchandani Palms in Pimple Saudagar.
The incident occurred when Sinha left his job with the Bakliwals and started his own institute — Deeksha Centre for Excellence. Sinha worked with the Bakliwals for two years.
On the day of the incident, the Bakliwals had gone to Sinha’s residence to collect the keys of a classroom that were with him. As per the fresh complaint made by Sinha, the duo started abusing him even though he handed over the keys. The Bakliwals pushed him against a pillar of his parking lot and he sustained serious injuries on his left eyebrow and eyeball. While he was trying to get up the two allegedly pushed a two-wheeler on him.  They then allegedly began kicking and punching causing blunt force trauma, bleeding of the left eyebrow and shoulder pain. Sinha also claimed that his wristwatch, mobile phone and chain were badly damaged in the incident.
Sinha said, “I am happy that the police finally took cognisance of the seriousness of my case. There were enough medical documents to prove the that this was a conspiracy against me.”
Vaibhav Bakliwal said, “This is a false case against us to malign our image. We had approached the crime branch in this case as Sinha is trying to create panic among the students by spreading these defamatory stories.”
Police sub-inspector R B Kumbhar, the investigating officer in this case, said, “I have conducted a spot panchnama in the case after taking down the statements of the accused. No arrests have been made so far. ”

These are the teachers whom students consider as their “Guru” and follow their every word. What kind of teachers are these people who get into physical fights over small issues. If this is their decency and moral character, can they really be the teachers we would want to send our children to learn from?
